Do you want to improve your local surroundings, reduce your use of energy and resources or recycle your unwanted items, but don’t know where to go?

Green Your World shows you where to find specialist advice, consultancies, feasibility studies and practical services to assist in projects in the built and natural environments.

About Us

DirectoryGreen Your World is a Directory of organisations and businesses that can provide advice and support to those undertaking projects in both the built and natural environments. It is aimed at those working on building refurbishment and new-build projects as well as outdoor environmental projects where there is a desire to be more ‘eco’ and make more efficient use of resources.

The directory includes businesses and organisations which can offer specialist advice, consultancy services including options appraisals and feasibility studies, and practical services in these fields.

Green Your World is primarily for charities and other community and voluntary organisations in the Peak District and surrounding area of north west Derbyshire. Much of the information included will also be useful to individuals and businesses in this geographical area and beyond.

While we encourage local sourcing of products and services, this is often not possible, and thus businesses from across the country are included in the directory (providing they offer their services in north west Derbyshire).

Green Your World is still evolving!
We welcome your comments and suggestions, and invite any enterprise offering products and services within the scope of the directory to register an entry in it.

High Peak CVS

 Peak District National Park Authority

The Directory has been developed by High Peak CVS in response to the large number of requests from charities and other community and voluntary organisations for help with their building and environmental projects, and the growing desire to make their buildings more energy efficient.

The development of the Directory has been funded by the ‘Sustainable Development Fund’ through the Peak District National Park Authority.

High Peak CVS is part of a national network of similar organisations which provide advice and support to charities and other community and voluntary organisations.

Disclaimer: Inclusion in the Directory carries no recommendation by High Peak CVS or the funder.
